Why Infoshred?

How it works…

Put your confidential material into boxes and stage them at ground level, at your driveway or in the garage.
Your boxed material will be loaded into our secure trucks by our trained personnel. The truck is locked and then drives back to our secure facility in East Windsor, CT.
All Infoshred trucks are equipped with a GPS vehicle tracking system, which allows us to locate your material as it is being transported to our facility.
The material is returned to Infoshred’s secured processing plant in East Windsor, CT. Our entire facility is monitored by a Sonitrol alarm system and closed circuit video equipment. Your material and boxes will be shredded into 1.5 inch x 5/8 inch cross cut particle by our AMS 15000 Magnum series crosscut shredder. The material is then baled and recycled.
You will be issued a Certificate of destruction when you material is shredded.

The Town of West Hartford just had another successful shredding event with Infoshred! We have partnered with Infoshred for many years hosting events twice a year. Residents really look forward to it. I am beyond happy with the service that I received from Infoshred!From my initial phone call with Jenna, to the back and forth of answering my questions via customer service to the seamless pick up. I could not have asked for an easier process!!The driver, Anthony, was amazing. He was personable, well-mannered and diligent. When I saw that he was by himself I mentioned that it must be hard having to lift and haul all the heavy boxes and his response really struck me – he said, with a smile – “I don’t mind. If you don’t work. You don’t eat.” That spoke to his character most definitely. Had a Groupon to get rid of lots of stored paper -- made an appt online (very easy to schedule!) Showed up early and still got helped right away. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes to drop off 300 pounds of shredding! Staff was professional and very nice!! Great experience (and good riddance to all of that dang paper!) Great place to go to shred any confidential information. I always recycle my bills and anything else that has my name and address on it. Groupon usually has a special for $25 for up to 10 boxes of confidential info. Due to covid-19 you have to call first to make an appointment to drop off any boxes. I will definitely be using them again!!!
