For more than 30 years, Infoshred has worked to keep our costs — and yours — as low as possible. Our fuel surcharge is no different. Since we first introduced it, we have absorbed fuel cost increases rather than passing them through in full, keeping our surcharge anchored to a rate set in 2021, even as New England diesel prices exceeded that rate every single month from January 2022 onward — more than four consecutive years. We can no longer continue to subsidize that gap.

Still far below the national competitors. Our largest national competitors charge fuel surcharges of 15–20%+ of your total invoice — typically $8–$15 or more per pickup. Infoshred charges a flat dollar amount per pickup tied only to the regional fuel price index, never as a percentage of what you spend with us.

How It Works

Infoshred applies a flat per-pickup fuel surcharge based on the monthly average of the New England (PADD 1A) No. 2 Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel retail price, published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. We review and update the surcharge each month. You can verify the current index price at eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel.
