Fuel Surcharge
April 2022 – Infoshred has implemented a fuel surcharge per pickup based on the matrix below and the U.S. Department of Energy’s National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Prices, https://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel, previous month’s average of the New England (PADD 1A) No 2 Diesel Ultra Low Sulfur (0-15 ppm) Retail Prices (Dollars per Gallon).
We will continue to monitor the DOE index, adjusting the rate monthly. The surcharge will be removed when prices fall below our base rate of $3.23 (2021’s average cost per gallon).
We have made every effort to keep the surcharge as minimal as possible. In our market research, many companies in our industry maintain permanent fuel surcharges six to eight times higher.
